Pit Tech

Alex Kluttz is a native of Mt. Pleasant, NC. He is currently pursuing a Bachelors of Music Degree in Music Education at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and will be graduating in May of 2012. Alex has spent his DCI career as member of Carolina Crown Drum and Bugle Corps for the 2008, 2009, 2010, and 2011 seasons. In 2010 he was awarded the Avedis Zildjan Outstanding Cymbal Player Award and in 2011 the Percussion Member of the Year Award for Carolina Crown. He is also a member of Phi Mu Alpha Sinfona, CMENC, and the Percussive Arts Society.
