Bryan Bone is a native of Summerville, SC where he was part of the state champion Greenwave Band. He is currently the Director of Bands at Boiling Springs HS. Under his direction the band has won three upper state 5a championships and scored all superior ratings in class 6 at SCBDA Concert Festival.

Bone is the only director in state history to lead a band to the state finals in all five classes (1A Ben Lippen 1996, 2A Swansea 1999-01,

While at Swansea High School his bands won three state championships from 1999-2001. In addition to this, the 1999 Swansea band is still to this day the only band to win a state championship in their first year qualifying for state finals. Swansea received straight superior ratings in Concert festival and won the State Outstanding Performance Award. Swansea is also the only 2a band from SC ever to make finals at a Bands of America Regional (Johnson City 2001).

While at Gilbert HS in 2003-04 Bone again led a band program to success. The band received straight Superior ratings in class 4 at Concert Festival. The band at Gilbert also won the SCBDA Outstanding Performance Award and two lower state championships. They placed first at numerous local competitions and membership grew from 56 to over 120 in just two years.

Mr. Bone earned his degree the University of South Carolina in 1995. Bone and his wife Shanna have two sons Dawson and Caden. They currently reside in Boiling Springs, SC.
